The Dalí Foundation's museums implement Everpaths

November 06, 2023

The Dalí Foundation relies on Everpaths to improve visitor experience

The Dalí Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Salvador Dalí's artistic legacy, has taken another step towards transforming the visitor experience at its three museums: the Theatre-Museum in Figueres, the Salvador Dalí House in Portlligat and the Gala Dalí Castle in Pubol.

Their choice to carry out this improvement is our Everpaths solution, a leading platform to help improve the experience of museum visitors.

Through our Everpaths location, indoor navigation and multimedia content solution, the Dalí Foundation is changing the way art lovers around the world experience the work of this iconic artist considered one of the greatest representatives of surrealism.

With the help of Everpaths, visitors are no longer limited to contemplating Salvador Dalí's works; they can now transform their visit into a more enriching and interactive experience.

How does Everpaths work at the Dalí Foundation?

Visitors, using their own smartphones, can access a series of functions that broaden their understanding and appreciation of Dalí's works, through the Dalí Museum APP based on the Everpaths platform.

Location

Firstly, the application offers an interactive indoor and outdoor positioning and location system that helps visitors navigate the Dalí Foundation's museums efficiently. It is no longer necessary to get lost in the corridors and rooms, as the platform provides precise indications on the location of works and fixed and temporary exhibitions (written and audio and adjusted to the various reduced mobility profiles).

Interactive routes

In addition to navigation, the museum's app offers recommended routes that guide visitors through a carefully curated selection of Dalí's most outstanding works. This allows visitors, whether art aficionados or connoisseurs, to enjoy a personalised experience tailored to their interests and knowledge.

Multi-language audio guides

But that's not all, it also provides multi-language audio guides to complement the experience. Visitors can listen to detailed commentary on the buildings, the works of art on display and the life of Salvador Dalí in several languages (currently in four languages: Catalan, Spanish, English and French), all at the touch of a button on their phone screen. These audio guides enrich the understanding of the works, providing historical and artistic context that allows visitors to appreciate Dalí's genius more deeply.

Capacity

In besides improving the visitor experience, one of the advantages that Everpaths brings to the foundation is the possibility of knowing the visitor's behaviour, knowing the flows by means of heat maps, detecting the time spent in each room or work, tracing their route and knowing what content they have consulted. All this in an easy and simple way from a single web platform from where they can manage all the contents, routes and navigation of the museums.

Download the app: Android, IOS

In short, this collaborative initiative is part of the digital transformation strategy that the Dalí Foundation has been implementing in recent months.

The Dalí Foundation is not only concerned with the preservation and promotion of Dalí's work, but is also committed to artistic education and the dissemination of culture.
